Broken Social Scene announced the follow-up to their 2005 self-titled third lp, due in stores May 4 on Arts & Crafts.  The album was recorded in Chicago and Toronto with producer John McEntire (Tortoise/The Sea and Cake).  Featuring the Broken Social Scene core of Kevin Drew, Brendan Canning, Justin Peroff, Andrew Whitman, Charles Spearin, Sam Goldberg and Lisa Lobsinger, with appearances from regulars Feist, Amy Millan and Evan Cranley of Stars, Emily Haines and James Shaw of Metric, Jason Collett, Ohad Benchetrit of Do Make Say Think, John Crossingham of Raising the Fawn, Marty Kinack, Leon Kingstone, and Julie Penner.  Broken Social Scene announced their first dates in support here.
